Apprentice Program

for Post-High School and College Students

New this year, the Festival is expanding its Apprenticeship Program, welcoming recent high school graduates, college students and recent college grads to go behind the scenes of this critically acclaimed arts and ideas festival. Apprentices work closely with the staff and production team, providing critical support and gaining invaluable hands-on experience and skills for their future careers. Each apprentice receives during their internship:

  • An immersive experience in the world of a festival and inside knowledge into the many different pieces that come together for successful weeks of events
  • Training for their areas of responsibility from staff and leaders in the field
  • Free and discounted tickets to some Festival events (depending on work schedule and availability)
  • Some meals during the Festival

The Festival invites interested students from all fields of study to apply for an apprenticeship position. The program is ideally suited for curious, motivated individuals who are interested in the diversity of possible careers in the arts, events, and the nonprofit world.

This Festival is able to work with existing University programs that provide course credit or stipends for unpaid internships at nonprofits.
