    Hi Village of Villagers,
Just wanted to say how cool we think it is that you are using Blogfest as an opportunity to promote your work and connect with collaborators. Keep us posted on what comes of it. We love the work you all do.
To those brave performers and fans who came out today in the rain, a special thanks from all of us at Arts & Ideas. Especially Brett Bottomly and his fans who traveled all the way from Washington Depot, NY and all the dedicated string players and families from Neighborhood Music School who hung together and played through the storm!
    Thank you all!

I had an opportunity to work under the “try something” category as an aid at the PIER tent making “Molas de la Kuna” with children. Having lived in Panama, this was an amazing opportunity to bring a bit of Panamanian indigenous culture to the Green and experience the creativity that kids brought to the table… and adults! If you missed this, you missed out on a truly multi-cultural experience, and a chance to fill your “passport” with entrance visas for a prize. I think this will be offered again… don’t miss it.
