Gallery Talk - Made in New Haven: The Work of Steers and Wojnarowicz

Yale University Art Gallery

Bryson Rand, M.F.A. 2015, discusses the work of Hugh Steers, B.A. 1985, and David Wojnarowicz, focusing on each artist’s depiction of life during the AIDS crisis in the 1990s. While drastically different in style, tone, and approach, the work of both artists functions as a personal narrative and a cultural document.
