Buying online is the easiest and most convenient way to buy tickets.

Purchase By Phone

You can buy tickets by phone at (203) 498-3772. A $3 per-ticket fee applies. Phone hours begin March 29 for Members, April 19 for general public: 10am-3pm, Monday to Friday. After June 1: 10am-6pm Monday to Saturday.

Buy In Person

Purchase your tickets in advance at the box office beginning June 1. Location: INFONewHaven Visitor Information Center* 1000 Chapel St. at the corner of Chapel and College Streets. Hours: 11am-7pm, Monday to Saturday: 12pm-5pm Sunday. If available, tickets can be purchased at each venue beginning one hour before performance for an additional $5. 

*The INFONewHaven location is not accessible for wheelchairs. Please call us at (203) 498-3772 if you would like in-person assistance, and we can make arrangements to help you with your ticketing needs.

Group Tickets

Free Events

Just show up! No tickets are required for free events, however we strongly recommend reservations for Tours and Master Classes (see event pages). Some events are very popular and have limited capacity. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to secure a spot.

You must use a credit card to guarantee your reservation online. There is no charge for these events, however, unused reservations are subject to a $5 fee. Thank you for helping ensure as many people as possible have the opportunity to attend these events!


Ideas Fast Pass: $55

Jump the line and save your seat early with an Ideas Fast Pass, which allows entry to the venue beginning 30 minutes before the talk. General public is admitted 15 minutes prior to the talk.

Weekends in the Hospitality Lounge

Catch weekend Headline concerts on the New Haven Green from the comfort and convenience of our new Hospitality Lounge! You’ll enjoy being close to the stage; behind-the-scenes views of the artists; plus beer and wine, snacks and more. Hospitality Lounge concert access begins at $75 for standing room; $125 for access and a seat. Festival Members receive some Lounge access passes. See Headline Concert event pages for purchase.

Chair Rental

See Everything & Do Everything Packages

Experience the Festival at maximum depth and see it all! The See-Everything Package provides tickets and a schedule for those adventurers who want to experience everything that the Festival has to offer. Purchase additional Add-On Special Event tickets to See & Do Everything!


When you buy a ticket consider paying it forward with an additional donation. Besides offering the majority of our programs for free, the Festival donates thousands of tickets to community programs. A donation is a ticket for a friend you haven’t met.
