Arts for Labor (2021)
All events are free & open to the public! RSVP today!
This Labor Day Weekend, join us in celebrating frontline workers, honoring New Haven artists, and encouraging public safety. The Festival is encouraging audiences to protect our whole community the best way we can-- by getting vaxxed for FREE at a mobile clinic on the Green, in partnership with the City of New Haven.
The Saturday, September 4 concert program featuring the NHSO and guest artists Brian Stokes Mitchell and Harolyn Blackwell is postponed and will be performed during the June 2022 International Festival of Arts and Ideas. Connecticut artists Dawn Tallman, the Tines, and DJ Fire will perform instead.
YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY: We are monitoring the Delta variant closely and are updating our practices as developments arise in step with both city and CDC guidelines.
- Social distancing is encouraged and we will have socially distanced pods available on first come, first serve basis
- Backstage as well as common areas will be disinfected and all staff/performers will be tested
- Masking is strongly encouraged for all attendees regardless of vaccination status
Accessible parking spots will be available on Church Street between Elm and Chapel (3 spots) and Elm Street between College & Temple (3 spots).
