The Festival is made possible through donations. In addition to supporting the Festival’s general operations, you can also choose to participate in a variety of special funding opportunities that give you the ability to direct your support to a part of the Festival that is most meaningful to you.
If you would like to support a special fund at the Festival, please contact Katrice Kemble, Development Manager at (203) 498-3704 or kkemble@artidea.org.
The Jean Handley Fund was established in 2010 in honor of one of the Festival's co-founders, Jean M. Handley, and supports programs that represent Jean’s values and passions. Jean was a person of extraordinary wisdom and exceedingly high standards who was generous with her time and talents. Over the years this Fund has supported many different programs at the Festival, including community-based programming, free performances on the New Haven Green, family-focused programs, and US Premieres. Proceeds from our annual Visionary Leadership Award Ceremony (VLA) support the Jean Handley Fund.
