Aaron Thompson joins the International Festival of Arts and Ideas after working for the past fifteen years in various roles throughout the Performing Arts Industry. Most recently, Aaron served as the Eastern Regional Director for Actors’ Equity Association – advocating on behalf of Equity’s 52,000 members for fair wages and safe working conditions. Prior to Equity, Aaron worked with both Ambassador Theatre Group and Broadway Producer Daryl Roth in various Management, Finance, and Human Resources roles. Past productions include Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Broadway), Fuerza Bruta (Off-Broadway), In & of Itself (Off-Broadway), Doubt (National Tour), The Year of Magical Thinking (Broadway), Vertical Hour (Broadway). Aaron gained a foothold in institutional management as the Company Manger for Atlantic Theatre Company.
Aaron lives with his wife Carrie, their two girls Ellie and Hannah and their playful dog Izzy.
