benefit for all 2009 Members: a discount on tickets to Rennie Harris Puremovement at Jacob’s Pillow Dance, August 5-9.
International dance ambassador Rennie Harris and his troupe Puremovement return to Jacob’s Pillow for an evening of the best of hip-hop dance. The company combines all types of hip-hop forms including popping, locking, electric boogaloo, and b-boying to present an evening of athletic, intense, and exciting dance. Blending racial, cultural, class, and political statements, Harris and his dancers communicate through group choreography as well as improvisational jams. May not be suitable for young children.
