SOUND SCULPTURE is an interactive public art work that allows participants of most ages to move and play with blocks, in this way creating changeable and dynamic light and sound structures. These portable and location-responsive blocks are designed to open a spatial and tangible aspect to musical composition, along with a sonic aspect to sculptural creations. This project is designed for installation at galleries, schools, community centers, science museums, music festivals and more. Making musical composition more physical, and sculptural creation more audible.
Sound Sculpture will be available for public interaction in the Festival Center. There will be a concert at 7:30pm on Sunday, June 17.
