Néstor “The Boss” Gomez trae las historias de inmigrantes y refugiados de todo el mundo en su espectáculo de narración de cuentos 80 Minutes Around The World. Después de llegar a Chicago como un inmigrante indocumentado de Guatemala a mediados de los años 80, Gómez contó su primera historia en un The Moth StorySLAM para ayudar a superar su tartamudeo. Ahora, él ha ganado más de sesenta The Moth StorySLAMs y varios GrandSLAMs. “Conté mi historia y cambié mi vida”, dice. Nestor “The Boss” Gomez brings the stories of immigrants and refugees from around the world on his storytelling show 80 Minutes Around The World. After coming to Chicago as an undocumented immigrant from Guatemala in the mid 80s, Gomez told his first story at a The Moth StorySLAM to help overcome his stutter. Now, he has won over 60 The Moth StorySLAMs and several GrandSLAMs. “I told my story, and I changed my life,” he says. Nestor “The Boss” Gomez Was born in Guatemala and came to Chicago Undocumented in the mid 80’s. He told his first story at a Moth story slam to get over the stuttering that plagued his childhood, since then he has won more than 60 Moth Slams and several Grand slams. Nestor also created, host, produce and curates his own storytelling show 80 Minutes Around the World a show that features the stories of Immigrants and refugees from different parts of the world, their descendant and allies . 80 Minutes Around the World is also available as a Podcast.
