Follow the adventurous and delightful tales of A.A. Milne’s engaging characters, Winnie-the-Pooh, Christopher Robin, Eeyore, Rabbit, Owl, and Piglet in Pooh’s Adventures! With book adaptation by Keely Baisden Knudsen, this fun and witty exploration of the Hundred Acre Wood by the Wheel Life Theatre Troupe will engage audiences of all ages!

The Wheel Life Theatre Troupe

The Wheel Life Theatre Troupe was co-founded by Josh Greenvall and Keely Baisden Knudsen, who both felt there should be a theatre troupe for those who use assisted devices and mobility aids (and their friends!). Meeting in Branford since 2019, the group has performed at the Guilford Performing Arts Festival, International Festival of Arts and Ideas, and in a special collaboration with Pilobolus Dance Company in Peter and Wendy at Legacy Theatre.

Keely Baisden Knudsen

A member of ASCAP and Actors' Equity Association, Keely has performed internationally in plays, musicals, operas, and dance companies and has choreographed and directed hundreds of events and theatrical productions. She is a composer/lyricist often engrossed in the undertaking of  new plays and musicals. Her authorship includes book and lyrics on A Christmas Carol: a holiday tradition, Joan Joyce (co-author), Peter and Wendy, The Tales of Christopher Robin and Winnie-the-Pooh, and Ladies M. (For licensing information of those titles, please visithttps://rewlsproductions.us.) After graduating first in her class with a BFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and receiving a Masters in Drama on full scholarship from The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Keely found a love of teaching drama to all levels. She has taught at Yale University, Fairfield University, Hartt School of Drama, Southern Connecticut State University, Quinnipiac University, and was the Director of Education for the Elm Shakespeare Company for several years. Keely, her husband, and five children reside in Guilford, CT, where she is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of The Legacy Theatre, which is in the historic village of Stony Creek on the shoreline in Branford, Connecticut. The theatre produces professional runs of shows per season, with classes and one-off productions throughout the year.
