Nadia Batson
Nadia Batson is a multi-talented Trinidadian singer, songwriter, producer, and bandleader known for her dynamic stage presence and infectious soca anthems. Born in Port of Spain and raised in Barataria, Nadia began writing and performing music at the age of eight. She gained early recognition as a member of the all-female group Silhouette, and later launched her professional music career with Andre Tanker’s One World Contraband. Over the years, Nadia has become one of the Caribbean’s most celebrated soca artists. A trailblazer for women in music, Nadia founded the all-female soca band SASS Nation in 2011, empowering a new generation of female performers. She has also served as a judge on Digicel Rising Stars and remains a prominent figure on the Caribbean entertainment scene.
