This performance comes from the Weekly Word Warriors, passionate poets and rappers from New Haven high schools who meet for two hours one afternoon a week to write, workshop and perform poetry with Word Teaching Artists and special guests, and to organize the Citywide Youth Poetry Jams and satellite events at their schools.
