Lux & Gravitas

A Celebratory Dinner, Performance, and Dessert Reception

The Festival culminates this year with a celebratory evening and farewell to Mary Lou Aleskie, groundbreaking Executive Director of the Festival for 11 years. Your Lux & Gravitas ticket includes a roaming dinner at Yale’s Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library with artists and special guests close to Mary Lou; a premium seat for the evening’s gravity-defying circus performance LEO; and a dessert reception and champagne toast after the show at The Study.

5:00 p.m. Cocktails and Dinner, Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library
8:00 p.m. Performance of LEO, University Theatre
9:30 p.m. Post-Performance Dessert Reception, The Study at Yale

Tickets available through June 16th.

The Mary Lou Aleskie Initiative for Enterprise and Opportunity provides the opportunity to continue the important work of the Festival - work grounded in acclaim and excellence and focused on our world, on issues of the day, and on our community. This work must, by its very nature, be responsive to changing and challenging times. This Initiative will provide the crucial resources needed to respond quickly to opportunities that advance the arts and humanities, keeping the Festival at the forefront of world-class programming.

Our goal is to raise $1,000,000 to support this multi-year Initiative of which we have already raised more than 50%. All proceeds of the 2017 Festival Gala will support this initiative and the future of the Festival.
