Morse Recital Hall in Sprague Hall

About this Venue

Morse Recital Hall, located inside Sprague Memorial Hall, is one of the primary performance halls of Yale School of Music. The historic building and concert hall were re-opened in 2003 after two years of extensive renovations, and today houses administrative offices, studio, and practice spaces for Yale School of Music. The recital hall is also the location of the Oneppo Chamber Music series, the Horowitz Piano Series and the Ellington Jazz Series, bringing excellent musicians from around the world to New Haven.

The access ramp is located to the left of the front doors on College Street. Handicap parking and facilities are available.

Street Parking

Metered street parking in downtown New Haven is available, but limited: parking in a garage is often cheaper and easier than trying to find street parking! Check all posted signs and be sure that you have paid your meter accordingly. Also check for temporary restrictions to street parking near your vehicle: summertime often brings construction to the area, and some parking regulations may be temporarily changed.

Please note: Metered parking is in effect until 9pm, Monday through Saturday. There is a 2 hour limit from 8am-5pm, and no limit after 5pm. No parking restrictions on Sunday.
