U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal announced a $45,000 federal grant for the New Haven International Festival of Arts and Ideas to support their multidisciplinary artistic programming this year.
The federal funds will support a performance and workshops by Bilingual Activist Latin Dance Theater Company, CONTRA TIEMPO June 28-29, a performance of Ukrainian folk quartet Dakha Brahka on the New Haven Green in celebration and recognition of World Refugee Day on June 20, and performances of Compagnia Colombari's King Lear June 14-16.
