In New Haven, spring is turning into summer as our city awakens from a long spiritual winter. The time for Vivaldi and a change of seasons has never been more ripe. New Haven Symphony Orchestra’s Principal Violinist David Southorn will be the featured soloist for The Four Seasons, accompanied by original readings from New Haven poets between the movements. Southorn's recent performance of The Four Seasons was lauded as “nothing less than brilliant … powerful sound; immaculate precision and compelling agility… impeccable phrasing and polished lyricism…a zestful performance” (Delaware Arts Info).
