Arts on Call 2020

Gift someone you love with a—socially distanced—arts performance! Choose an artist from the roster below and select a time for that artist to perform at an outdoor location of your choice. Artists will arrive at the designated time, phone or text the residence, then perform a 10-15 minute set of (primarily acoustic) music/dance/poetry/theater, outdoors in front of the residence, while observing social distancing. Artists will not enter an apartment building or a multifamily home, but can perform in front of a complex. Performers are all solo acts or groups who have been isolating together.

Performances will be available on the hour between 11 AM and 6 PM. Sales for any given day will end when all performances are sold out or at 2 PM the day before. In the event of rain (or other postponement circumstance), the artist will contact the purchaser and reschedule as may be mutually agreeable. Performance fees have been established by the artists themselves and 100% of the fee will be paid to the artist.

PLEASE NOTE: Performance addresses should be limited to a 10-mile radius of downtown New Haven.

New Haven Arts on Call is modeled after Sidewalk Serenades, a program created in March 2020 by Creative Alliance in Baltimore, and is presented with support from the Elizabethan Club of Yale University.
